Waste to Energy Project in Kenya

The project will support the agricultural sector with organic fertilizer that will help Kenya achieve food security.

We are developing and promoting the Productive Use of Renewable Energy in partnership with our industrial sector by converting 150,000tonnes of Municipal Solid Waste per year into a biofuel.

We have established the need for a sustainable municipal solid waste disposal solution that will convert the household, urban, agricultural and industrial solid waste generated in this township, and turn it into a renewable energy source.

Our alternatives to shift to renewable energy sources will further enhance the reduction of air pollution generated by the industrial sector in this town thereby contributing toward Kenya’s goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 30% by 2030.
